Craystone offers comprehensive workshop facilities, including service and refurbishment on a wide range of Tape Drives, including DAT, DLT, AIT, LTO, SDLT, Exabyte, VXA, Autoloaders and Library tape drives.
Our workshop is fully equipped to cope with all your repair requirements, we have up-to-date testing and calibrating equipment and fully trained engineers. As a result, we are confident that any problems your backup solution may have - we can fix it!
As standard we offer a six month warranty on all our repairs - a further testament to the quality of repair service we provide.
The workshop Drives, such as, the full range of DDS1, DDS2, DDS3, DDS4 DAT drives; DLT4000, DLT7000, DLT8000, DLT1, VS80, VS160 drives; SDLT220, SDLT320, SDLT600 drives; AIT-1, AIT-2, AIT-3 drives; LTO-1, LTO-2, LTO-3 and LTO-4 drives; can all be repaired in our extensive workshop using our qualified technicians. Below you will find a table detailing 'fixed cost' repair pricing.
Autoloader and Library repairs are dealt with on case-by-case terms. We get them in, test, analysis and cost the repair on the basis of what work is required.

To organise a fixed price repair for your faulty DAT drive, contact Craystone with the unit's serial number and fault. On receipt of these details and and an email/fax order confirming your requirements, we will send our repair workshop address and instruct you to forward the unit for evaluation and repair.
