DAT Tape Drive Repairs
 If your faulty DAT drive needs repair, our extensive workshop and qualified technicians offer a comprehensive repair service on a wide range of Tape, DAT, DLT, Optical and CD drives.

Craystone offer a fixed price repair on all makes of internal and external DAT drives. DDS1, DDS2, DDS3 and DDS4 drive technology are all repairable, however some restrictions, such as replacement tape heads can mean that certain drives cannot be covered under the fixed price scheme (please call for details). All makes can be repaired, Archive, Compaq, HP, HP Surestore, Seagate, Sony, Wangdat etc. Autoloaders and libraries are priced only after evaluation.

Our DAT repair procedure includes a no fix no fee service. If your drive cannot be fixed after our initial evaluation then the only charge levied is the return carriage.

We offer an extensive testing service and are able to quickly turnaround the repairs in 3 days, an optional same service is available at extra cost.

Why Fixed Priced?  There are no surprises with fixed priced repairs.  You know up front what the cost is going to be, this helps you make an informed decision.  The average cost (some drives may need more work than the average) is calculated over the previous year's tape drive in-take.

To organise a fixed price repair for your faulty DLT/SDLT drive, email Craystone with the unit's serial number and fault. On receipt of these details confirming your requirements, we will send our repair workshop address and instruct you to forward the unit for evaluation and repair.  Payment details will be obtained prior to the return of the tape drive.
