With it's innovative wireless design, the Scanplus 1802 handheld bar code scanner, brings cordless technology to thr Retail, Health Care, Office and Light Industrial environments.
Scanning is made easy and all bar codes are within reach.  Also the scanner's unique ergonomic shape and light weight (232g/8.2oz) makes it more comfortable to use.

With an operating range of up to 15 metres and a autonomy of 7,000 scans (7,000 scans before you need to charge the battery), the Scanplus 1802 offers exceptional performance.

The battery pack (NiMH technology) is quickly recharged by the advanced two bay charger for another day of intensive use.  In addition, the Scanplus 1802 uses the latest scanning technology for fast reading and decoding.

Scanplus 1802 is highly flexible: with a choice between CCD (charge coupled device)- use for up to 100mm, and laser scanning devices - use for up to 500mm, the Scanplus 1802 can match the requirements of the most demanding applications.

Data transmission is very efficient with narrow band technology (433MHz and 908MHz).  The two way communication system between the scanner and it's base station allows real time transmission control and acknowledgemnet, to ensure complete reliability.

The Microbar 9735 base station can interface with multiple (five) wireless scanners and up to 4 wired input devices, it offers extremely advanced data formatting capabilities.

Engineered with the operator in mind, a scanner is associated (linked) to it's base station simply by reading the Association Bar Code on the Microbar 9735.  To work in another area, an operator needs only to scan the Association bar code on the corresponding base.  Furthermore, the capability of interfacing up to 5 ScanPlus 1802 scanners to a unique base provides an extremely cost efficient solution.

In common with most Intermec scanners, ScanPlus 1802 is compatible with EasySet setup software for the fastest on line or off line configuration.
