CONNER PEREGRINE CTD8000 Rev A
The first production run (Rev. A) of Conner peregrine CTD8000 tape drives do not have a dip-switchbank to enable you to alter the factory default settings. The tape drives are despatched with the following settings:

SCSI ID = 0 COMPRESSION ON = 8Gb
PARITY OFF MRS MODE ON
SELF TEST OFF INQUIRY STRING ON or OFF DEPENDENT ON DRIVE

So the Rev. A drive has with the SAME default settings as a Conner CTD8000 with dip switches.  If you need to alter these settings, you must look to the 16 pin jumper block at the rear of the drive.

You will notice that there isn't any pin pairs to alter the default settings of Parity and MRS Mode.  If you ever need to change these settings, you must download - Switch.zip.
