Details The Wangdat 3200 offers a 4Gb read after write data storage capacity at transfer rates of up to 2.64Gb per hour (assuming 2:1 data compression) The Wangdat 3200 DAT drive offers you unparalleled connectivity, capacity and performance for backup and archival applications. It is compatible with a wide variety of third-party software packages for many operating systems and can be used to back up networks, multi-user systems and powerful workstations. The Wangdat 3200 has read and write capability with previous Wangdat tape products - it can read and write tapes created on a DDS1 drive (Wangdat 1300XL, 3100) but not a DDS2 drive (Wangdat 3400, 3800) or a DDS3 drive(Wangdat 3900). The drive will write 4Gb of data on a 90metre tape, 2.6Gb data on a 60metre tape (assuming 2:1 compression). The Wangdat 3200 utilizes proven recording technology, providing reliability, Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) = 180,000 hours and is backed by our 1 year tape drive warranty. |
