The HP SureStore DLT1 tape drive provides all the advantages of standard DLT technology but at a new lower price.  It's high performance offers 80Gb of data capacity and 6Mb/second transfer rate (compressed), and  is twice the storage capacity of similarly priced solutions and twice the value per Gb of other DLT solutions.
The HP DLT1 drives feature "plug-and-play" compatibility with leading servers, operating systems and backup software. HP continuously works with server, operating system and backup software vendors to ensure this system compatibility.
Supplied with HP TapeTools, TapeWare desktop and server backup software, the HP Surestore DLT1 tape drive is easy to manage, enabling you to access drive information, run diagnostics, and easily upgrade firmware.
